Cost and insurance
What does it cost?
Compounded plans include your medicine and your clinician care in one monthly price. There's no membership fee. On a 6‑month plan, semaglutide starts at $159/mo and tirzepatide starts at $279/mo. Month to month, they cost $199 and $349. The price is the same at every dose. Brand-name pens are billed by the drug maker. You also pay a care membership: $39 your first month, then $99/mo. Every product page lists its price. You see the full price before checkout.
Do I need insurance?
No. Zappy is cash-pay, so we don't bill insurance. You can use an FSA or HSA card on eligible items.
Will my employer or insurance see this?
No. We don't bill insurance, and we don't share your treatment details with employers.
Getting started
Who qualifies?
For GLP-1 weight-loss medicine, most people need a BMI of 30 or more, or 27 or more with a weight-related health problem such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes or sleep apnea. For hormone care, we start with labs. For every treatment, a licensed clinician reviews your health history and decides what's safe for you. If treatment isn't right for you, you pay nothing.
Do I need to book an appointment?
No. You answer the questions online, on any device, in about 5 minutes. A clinician reviews your answers and messages you if they need anything else.
How fast will my visit be reviewed?
A U.S.-licensed clinician looks at every case within 24 hours after you send it.
Which states do you ship to?
We ship to most U.S. states right now. Whether we can ship to you depends on your medicine. The quiz checks this before you're charged.
Your medication
How is medication shipped?
It ships in a plain box that keeps it at the right temperature. Most orders arrive within 2–4 days after you send in your visit. You'll get a tracking link the day it leaves the pharmacy.
Can I pause or cancel?
Yes. You can pause or cancel any time from your account. There are no fees and no contracts.
Are compounded medications safe?
Compounded medicines are made by a pharmacy for each patient. Ours are prescribed by a licensed clinician and filled by a LegitScript-verified 503A pharmacy. State and federal compounding rules apply to how they're made. They are not FDA-approved. They are not FDA-approved generics or equivalents of the brand-name products. The pharmacy oversees quality, sterility (being free of germs), and dosing.
What if I have side effects?
Message your clinician through the portal. Most side effects get better when we change how fast your dose goes up, or with simple care for the symptoms. We'll walk you through what to try.
Ready when you are. It's free to see if you qualify.
