BMI calculator
Body Mass Index (BMI) compares your weight to your height. It's rough, but it's a useful place to start. BMI doesn't measure muscle, body frame, or where you carry weight. Clinicians use it as one clue among many.

BMI and GLP-1 eligibility
Most clinicians think GLP-1 weight-loss medicines make sense at a BMI of 30 or more. They may also fit at a BMI of 27 or more if you have a health problem linked to weight. Examples are high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, and sleep apnea. Your clinician decides during your visit. They look at your whole health, not just your BMI.
